Future Of Oil And Gas In Ireland To Be Discussed At Prestigious Seminar

A seminar which will examine the key issues around the future of oil and gas in Ireland is to take place at Chartered Accountants House, Dublin, on Wednesday 17th October.

'Oil & Gas prospects: Ireland's energy opportunity' will look into issues both in the global and Irish context, with a focus on how oil and gas will fit into Ireland's energy future, alongside the drive towards greater renewables.

Issue explored will include:

•Drivers of international oil and gas markets

•Exploration and production offshore Ireland

•The licensing and fiscal regimes around oil and gas exploration

•The role of gas storage in the all-island gas market

•Impact of shale gas as a new source of energy

•Effect of international developments on the Irish gas market

A number of keynote speakers will also be attending the event.

The seminar is open to any organisation or individual who wishes to attend.
